Key Dates & Deadlines

Voter Registration Deadline — October 14

Voter registration closes on October 14. Check your registration status at KS VoterView to ensure your information is accurate and active.

  • You can register or update your information entirely online.

  • You may also submit a paper registration form by email, mail, text, or in person at the Johnson County Election Office.

Advance Voting by Mail — Begins October 15

While voting in person is recommended due to potential USPS delays, you may request a mail-in ballot through the Johnson County Election Office.

  • If you want to vote by mail, request your ballot as early as possible — do not wait until October 15.

  • If you do not receive your ballot in time, you can still vote in person at your polling place.

Advance Voting in Person — Begins October 25

Cast your vote early at designated in-person advance voting locations.

Advance Voting Closes — November 3 at Noon

Election Day — November 4

Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Look up your Electon Day Polling Place before election day, or find an Advance Voting Polling Place that's convenient for you.
